David W. Schlough, Sr.

David W. Schlough, Sr., 80, of Easton, PA passed away Friday, August 18, 2023 at Abington Manor, Easton. Born July 5, 1943 in Easton, he was the son of the late Marjorie (Young) and Frederick G. Schlough. A graduate of Easton High School, he was employed by Mack Printing for many years before retiring. Following his retirement, he worked for Advance Auto Parts. He was a member of the Easton Masonic Lodge and a Wilson Civil Defense volunteer. He loved going to flea markets and finding collectibles, including baseball cards and coins. In his younger years, he was an avid hunter with his father and mother.

He is survived by his son: David, Jr. and his wife Tammy of Forks Twp., PA; and two grandchildren: Hannah and Nathan. He was predeceased by his wife Helen.

Services are 2 PM Tuesday (Aug. 22) in the Ashton Funeral Home, 1337 Northampton St., Easton, PA with visitation from 1 to 2 PM. Interment in Northampton Memorial Shrine. Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association. Offer online condolences at www.AshtonFuneralHome.com.

Ella A. Compagnola, 69 of Wilson Borough, PA died Monday, August 14, 2023 at New Eastwood Rehab Center. Born September 21, 1953 in Easton, PA, she was a daughter of the late Anna (Moffitt) and Melvin Hess. She was a 1972 graduate of Easton High School and attended Churchman’s Business School. Ella was employed by Valley Federal Savings for many years.

She is survived by her husband of 47 years, Joseph Compagnola, Sr.; her son: Joseph Compagnola, Jr. and his wife Alexis of Wilson Borough; and 2 grandchildren: Kaylei and Seth Compagnola. Stephanie A. Faulkner

Stephanie A. Faulkner, 82 of Easton, PA died Friday August 11, 2023 at Gracedale. Born November 3, 1940 in Easton, she was a daughter of the late Stella (Stoykiewicz) and Edward Storm. She was employed by the Hunterdon Developmental Center in New Jersey for many years before retiring. Stephanie and her late husband Craig, were avid animal lovers, often befriending and rescuing stray cats.

She is survived by her sister: Grace Valdez; sister-in-law: Joan Stocker; nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Craig Faulkner who died in August of 2021 and her toddler, James Weisenberger.

Judith S. Wolfe, 80, of Lower Nazareth Twp., PA died Thursday, August 10, 2023 at St. Luke’s Hospice House. Born July 15, 1943 in Phillipsburg, NJ she was a daughter of the late Ruth (Hartley) and Jack Swick. She worked in the financial field for many years including owning her own accounting business.

She is survived by her husband of more than 60 years, Gary G. Wolfe; sister: Jacquelyn Cuvo; nieces and nephews. Her son Scott Allen Wolfe died in 1981. William J. Dombrowski

William J. Dombrowski, 71 of Brooklyn, NY died Friday, August 4, 2023 at ProMedica Rehab, Bethlehem, PA. Born December 1, 1951 in Brooklyn, he was a son of the late William and Anna (Zayatz) Dombrowski.

He is survived by a niece: Nicole Schultz (fiance Gregory Banks) of Easton, PA; a sister: Carol Murphy and good friend: John Carlson both in NY and his beloved cat: Bella. His brother Joseph Dombrowski died earlier.

Livio Lee Loccarini

Livio F. “Lee” Loccarini, 94 of Palmer Twp., PA died Friday, August 4, 2023 at home. Born July 28, 1929 in Easton, PA he was a son of the late Devilia (Rossetti) and Alfred Loccarini. He was a graduate of Easton High School and served in the Air Force during the Korean War. Lee retired from Bethlehem Steel after more than 30 years. Prior to that he was a self-employed auto body mechanic and helped with his father’s taxi company, Diamond Taxi. He was a member of the American Legion and life member of the Stockertown Rod and Gun Club.

He is survived by 2 sons: Terry Loccarini (wife Lori), Darin Loccarini; a daughter: Janel Gadomski; 4 grandchildren: Dylan, Marisa, Samantha and Nicholas; and 4 great-grandchildren: Dani, Indy, Sebastian and Charlotte. He was predeceased by his wife: Charlotte (Mack) Loccarini in 2019 and his brother: Alfred Loccarini.

Graveside services with military honors will be held 2 PM Thursday (Aug. 10) at Greenwood Cemetery, 22 Atlas Road, Northampton (Howertown), PA. Jo-anne N. Pessin

Jo-anne N. Pessin, 88, formerly of Kennett Square, Pa., died Friday, July 28, 2023, in Riddle Village, Media, Pa. Born June 25, 1935 in Bethlehem, Pa, she was the daughter of the late Morton and Bella Rose (Jaffe) Neuman. She and her husband, Herbert E. Pessin, were married for 69 years and prior to moving to Kennett Square, lived in Erie, Pa. for 23 years. Jo-anne graduated from Moravian University in 1957 and was a member of Congregation Beth Emeth, Wilmington, Del.

Surviving with her husband, Herbert, are a son, Joseph A. Pessin; a daughter, Melissa S. Pessin; a brother, Jerry Neuman; and six grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 pm on Monday, July 31, 2023 at Bnai Abraham Cemetery, 2001 Church Hill Rd., Forks Township. The Ashton Funeral Home, Easton is handling the arrangements.
