Lorraine LeVan McCabe, 88, formerly of Easton passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 9, 2012.

Born: December 23, 1923 in Easton, she was a daughter of the late Wayne and Eleanor Hughes LeVan. She was married to  Basil McCabe until he passed away on September 27, 1990, their 46th wedding anniversary.

Personal: A 1942 graduate of Easton High School, she was the ‘41-’42 Drum Majorette, a loyal Red Jacket and on the Rechauffe staff. During WWII she worked for the J.T. Baker Chemical Co. and took chemistry classes at Lafayette College. From 1947 to 1951 she was Vice-Chair of the Northampton County Republican Committee, as well as being involved in the Lafayette College Faculty Wives’ Club and faculty plays, where Basil ’42 was a Professor of Physics and Electrical Engineering. In 1951 the family moved to Morristown, NJ where she ultimately volunteered over 4,000 hours at the Morristown Memorial Hospital, was the Recording Secretary of the MMH Women’s Association and a member of the Board of Trustees. In 2001 the MMHWA presented her with a Tiffany bowl commemorating 50 years of dedicated service. From 1951 until 1993 when she returned to live in Easton, Lorraine was a member of the Presbyterian Church of Morristown. While active in the PTA and the Morristown Republican Committee, volunteering was a major part of her life. From 1968 to 1983 she was a dental assistant to Dr. Don Delpho. Lorraine was an avid reader who loved to cook, bake, care for her family and the family beagles. She and her husband Basil always had a true love for Easton and for Lafayette College to which they were contributors to the Ford Motor Co. challenge-grant campaign, and were Sustaining Members of the Marquis Society for the College’s Annual Endowment Fund. She also truly enjoyed attending EHS and Lafayette reunions.

Survivors: Her son: Robert of Riverton, PA; four grandchildren and two great-granddaughters: Jennifer Carlson and her husband Richard and GGL’s girls: Samantha and Katie; Mike; Elizabeth Lorraine; and Peter and four nephews. She was predeceased by her loving brothers: George and Jack.

Services: Visitation will be held from 1 to 2:30 p.m. Wednesday in the Ashton Funeral Home, 1337 Northampton St., Easton.

Andrew P. Wismer, Sr., 25, of Easton died Friday, May 25, 2012.

Born: January 30, 1987 in Easton he was a son of Ronald B. Wismer, Jr. of Tatamy and Robin Bossert of Pen Argyl.

Personal: Andrew was a devoted father to his children and loved to fish, waterski and hunt. He graduated from Easton High School in 2005 and was most recently employed by Cadmus in Wilson.

Survivors: His parents; fiancé: Serena Pleiss and their two children: Andrew (6) and Gabrielle (3); sister: Melissa Wismer; step-mother: Barbara Casner; step-father: Eric Bossert, Sr.; paternal grandparents: Ann Marie and Carl Rodenbach; maternal  grandparents: Dolores and Ray Bayless; niece: Shelby; 3 step-sisters and a step-brother; aunt and uncle: Kelly and Richard Supplee; uncles: Barry, Jeffrey and Tom Wismer; and many cousins. He was predeceased by his older brother: Timothy J. Wismer in 2005.

Services: 11:00 a.m. Wednesday (5/30) in the Ashton Funeral Home, 1337 Northampton St., Easton, with visitation from 10:30 to 11 a.m. Interment will be private.

Memorial Contributions: May be made to Serena Pleiss % the funeral home for his children.

Pamela Sue Todd

Pamela Sue Campbell was born on December 11, 1956 in Easton, Pennsylvania, the daughter of Harry and Dorothy Campbell. She passed away on May 24, 2012 in Tucson, Arizona.

She graduated from Wilson High School in 1974 and then from Houghton College with a bachelors degree in music in 1978. That summer she met her future husbund Kenneth (Ken) Todd at Sandy Cover Bible conference and they were married on August 29, 1980 in Easton, Pennsylvania. Their son Jonathan was born in May 1984. The Todd’s moved to Tucson in 1992.

Over the last 20 years, Pam has taught the love, theory and performance of music at Palo Verde Christian School, Pusch Ridge Christian Academy, and El Camino Baptist Church. Pam has been a member of various orchestras and symphonies, playing the French horn and piano, as well as conducting and participating in choirs throughout her life. Pam’s talents included painting as well as calligraphy. She loved to sew and crochet, bake and shop. And she loved her big dogs.

Pam leaves a legacy of “Joy in the Lord”. Her relationship with God, His Son, Jesus and the Holy Spirit guided her and her family and friends through many challenges. Her abiding faith and resilient spirit blessed all she met.

Pam is survived by her beloved husband Ken, son Jonathan, brother Mark Campbell and his wife Maureen, niece Erin and her husband Jeremy Herring and grandniece Cadance, and niece Kaitlyn Campbell.

Services will be held at 11:00 am Saturday, June 2 in Bethel Memorial Baptist Church, 715 Chestnut Lane, Palmer Township, PA.  Call from 9:30 am until service time Saturday in the church.  Interment in Farmersville Cemetery.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 5:00 pm ETD on Sunday, June 10, 2012 in El Camino Baptist Church, Tucson, AZ.  The service can be viewed live at www.ElCaminoChurch.org.
