Richard A. Beegle, Sr.

Richard A. “Dick” Beegle, Sr., 81 of Bethlehem Twp., PA died Tuesday, May 12, 2020 at St. Luke’s Hospice House. Born November 9, 1938 in Easton, PA he was a son of the late Harry and Ruth “Dolly” (Strauss) Beegle and stepmother Ada (Williams) who raised him when his mother died in 1941. He attended Wilson High School and was employed by the former Pfizer Company for 31 years before retiring. A walker at the Bethlehem Twp. Community Center, he also enjoyed gardening at the Louise Moore Park Community Garden.

He is survived by his wife of 55 years: Mary A. (Malia) Beegle; 3 sons: Richard A. Beegle, Jr. (wife Jean) of Northampton, PA, Joseph A. Beegle (wife Heidi) of Bethlehem, PA, James A. Beegle (wife Katherine) of Mansfield, MA; brother: William Beegle; sisters: Ann Flank, Linda Wettlaufer, Mariclare Groller; and 5 grandchildren: Hannah, Ryan, Kristen, Lauren and Rachel. A brother Thomas died in January.

Services are private. The Ashton Funeral Home, Easton is handling arrangements. Memorial contributions may be made to Lehigh Valley Hospital or St. Luke’s Hospice House.

William H. Smith

William H. Smith, 74, of Easton, PA died Saturday, May 9, 2020 at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Muhlenberg. Born December 15, 1945 in Easton he was a son of the late Horace and Beatrice (Merritt) Smith. He graduated from Belvidere High School and was a Vietnam War Army Veteran. He was employed by Ingersoll-Rand, Phillipsburg for many years before retiring as a consultant for FLSmidth in Bethlehem. An avid fisherman and hunter, he was a member of the Raubsville Rod and Gun Club.

He is survived by his wife of 12 years, Audrey (Stamets) Smith; daughters: Stefanie Gordon of Easton, Kathleen Smith-Hosterman of Marshalls Creek; step-children: Becki Gara and Harry Stamets of Easton; brother: Douglas Smith; sisters: Melody Jongema and Maryclaire Lightcap; 5 grandchildren and a great-grandson. A sister: Denise Getty died earlier.

Constantine P. “Dino” Mouras

Constantine P. “Dino” Mouras, 69, of Easton, died Friday, May 8, 2020 in Lehigh Valley Hospital.
Born August 6, 1950 in Easton, he was a son of the late Paul and Olga (Kutsopias) Mouras.
Dino served in the Army during the Vietnam War and was a chef at Forks Diner and Palmer Diner. He was a member of Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church.
Surviving are four daughters, Olga Mouras, Litsa Aniskovich, Sophia Mouras and Kalliope Mouras; a sister, Lillian Zito; and eleven grandchildren. His son, Apostoli Mouras died earlier.

Doris J. Ostrander

Doris J. Ostrander, 86, of Easton, died Tuesday, May 5, 2020 in ManorCare, Old Orchard. Born May 14, 1933 in Easton, she was a daughter of the late Russell and Mabel (Halpin) Cunningham. Her husband, Edward J. Ostrander, Sr., died in 1980.

Surviving are a daughter, Traci Mindler; three sons, Kim Ostrander, Edward Ostrander, Jr., and Kerry Ostrander; two brothers, Kenneth Cunningham and William Cunningham; two sisters, Pauline Minger and Frances Slack; four grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. Five brothers, Harry Cunningham, Joseph Cunningham, Clayton Cunningham, James Cunningham and Robert Cunningham; and two sisters, Martha Schermerhorn and Betty Benner died earlier.

Gerald A. Kershner

Gerald A. Kershner, 87, died Tuesday, May 5, 2020 in ManorCare, Old Orchard.

Born February 2, 1933 in Allentown, he was a son of the late John and Signe (Weak) Kershner. He served in the Army during the Korean War and was a fraternity cook at Lehigh University. Being an avid walker, one of his pleasures was his daily walk at Jacobsburg State Park.

Surviving are his children, Melissa Debarbieri and Michael Kershner; his companion of over 42 years, Jean Olenwine; his sister, Audrey Kershner; and two granddaughters, Skylar and PomPom Debarbieri. His brother, Lionel Kershner died earlier.

Marie E. Hagenbuch

Marie Eleanor Hagenbuch, 95, of Bethlehem, PA died Monday, May 4, 2020 at Kirkland Village. Born May 13, 1924 in Easton, PA she was a daughter of the late Carl and Anna (Trach) Hevener. She was a secretary for most of her life before retiring and a member of First Presbyterian Church, Bethlehem. Marie was also a longtime hospice volunteer

She is survived by her two children: Jill Minick (husband Paul) of Philadelphia, PA, Wayne Hagenbuch (wife Kelly) of St. Louis, MO; a granddaughter and 2 great-grandchildren. Her husband Llewellyn M. Hagenbuch and sister Lucille Shuttleworth died earlier.

Donald G. Kilpatrick

Donald G. Kilpatrick, 77, of Forks Twp., PA died Sunday, May 3, 2020 at Easton Hospital. Born March 20, 1943 in Easton he was a son of the late Russel and Marguerite (Unangst) Kilpatrick. He graduated from Easton High School in 1961 and was a Vietnam War army veteran. He was employed by Mack Printing/Cadmus in Wilson for many years before retiring.

Donald is survived by his wife of 30 years, Kathleen (Gray) Kilpatrick; a brother: Dale Kilpatrick; and stepdaughters: Elizabeth Bevans and Theresa Jacoby. He was predeceased by 3 brothers: Russel, Richard and Roy Kilpatrick and a sister: Barbara Kilpatrick. The Ashton Funeral Home, Easton is handling arrangements. Lorraine M. Pugliese

Lorraine M. Pugliese, 87, formerly of Phillipsburg, NJ, died Friday, May 1, 2020 in St. Luke’s Hospital. Born March 27, 1933 in Phillipsburg, she was a daughter of the late Jack and Nora (Shaker) Manazer. Her husband, Salvatore “Toot” Pugliese, Jr., died in 1998.

Lorraine owned and operated Toot’s Tavern, Phillipsburg for over 30 years. She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church, Alpha and graduated from Phillipsburg High School in 1951.

Surviving are three sons, Sal Pugliese, III; Daniel Pugliese; and Michael Pugliese; a twin brother, Albert Manazer; brothers, Jack Manazer and Charles Manazer; a sister, Irene Bonfiglio; five grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews, including Melissa Hess and Jo Anne Riddle. Two brothers, Franklin Manazer and Joseph Manazer died earlier.
