My very deepest condolences go out to Lloyd, Jason and Amy. Pam was a very dear friend, a loving wife, mother and Mimi to her grandchildren. When Pam and Lloyd moved into the neighborhood we basically raised our children together, carpooled, ate tons of her famous popcorn and enjoyed many weekends with our families at LBI. When I needed a friend, advice, a hug and so much more, Pam was always there gor me and anyone who needed her. She was one of the finest people I have ever known. My memories of this wonderful woman will remain forever in my heart.

My deepest condolences to Pam’s family, to say I was shocked when I heard about Pam’s passing is an understatement. Pam was my first supervisor/boss, but more a mentor than anything when I worked at Lafayette. She always valued my thoughts, my choices and most importantly always offered guidance and support in my career goals. She inspired so many students during her tenure and always gave 110% at everything she did. She was always gracious, kind and giving to others as well. She will truly be missed! We were thrilled to welcome Pam, and the other College Hill church, volunteers. They all stepped up and supported each other support our clients at a very desperate time. It is this kind of selflessness and thought for others that makes it so very hard to lose someone. Clearly, Pam was a wonderful person who lived her beliefs. She will be greatly missed.

It’s hard to know what to express – my heart is heavy with the news of Pam’s passing. Lloyd, Jason, and Amy, please accept my deepest condolences.

Pam and I overlapped for 20 years at Lafayette, and a big part of my on-the-job training came from interacting with her. Pam’s passion for serving students was wonderfully obvious and powered her through long days and nights and tough but rewarding semesters. I recall one student leader who was fond of saying, loudly and frequently, how much she loved Lafayette. I’m confident one of the reasons she could make that claim with such enthusiasm was Pam’s influence on her. Multiply this by thousands over the course of a career and you can begin to understand her true impact.

Although I have been away from Lafayette for several years, I remember with fondness the many kindnesses Pam extended to me and, later, my family. It was a blessing to know her.

Pam impacted me in so many ways, as a colleague, advisor and friend. My years as part of her Lafayette Leadership Committee are some of my best professional experiences – and watching her as a masterful mentor to the students taught me so much. Our lunches were a highlight but too infrequent as her company was in such high demand! And of course, my annual Oscars party was always more fun and lively when she attended, feather boa and all. Pam was a once in a lifetime friend – I am blessed she came into my life. My deepest condolences to her family and all who loved her – an infinite list for sure.

Dearest Lloyd, Jason, Caroline, Amy, David, Jack, Nora, Allison, Brandon and Maclin,

Pam was truly one of the finest people I have ever known. We have been friends since we were 8 years old. I have admired and enjoyed her for so many years – 56 years to be exact! Growing up together there were countless visits in each other’s homes, slumber parties, silly situations, and enriching experiences.

When we were 12 years old we sat on the hill that was between our homes and Pam prayed to receive Christ. We shared our faith and that gave us such a depth to our friendship. We had a Bible study together when we were in graduate school at JMU.

We visited France as 15 year olds and stayed with families there for several weeks. Upon returning home, if we wanted privacy from our eavesdropping families while we spoke on our landline phones, we simply spoke in French. Pam’s Mom included me on many beach trips and even taught me to water ski. We were best friends in our most formative years through graduate school. From then on we lived at least 500 miles apart but always held each other close. Pam and I supported each other growing up. I just erroneously thought that she would be a part of my life for the duration of my life. I am so thankful for what Pam’s loyal friendship has meant to me.

You family members are the ones who will suffer her loss so greatly. She loved you so dearly. She enjoyed each one of you so much. She would tell me about individual personality characteristics. Pam loved to reflect on each of your uniqueness. She appreciated each of you for your individuality. I do not know what God had in mind by taking her so abruptly to abide in heaven with Him but I can only trust Him. He tells me, “For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts.“(Isaiah 55:9). I am so sorry for your loss of your wonderful Pam. I will pray and keep praying for God to help you figure out how to live this life without her here on earth.

I plan to come up with Diane for the Memorial Service.

    With Lots of Love,

    Leslie

I was so sorry to learn of Pam’s death. Pam and I did not have much reason to interact during our time at Lafayette but we both enjoyed Tracey’s Cafe. I would walk in and Pam and Donna Krivoski would frequently invite me to join them and often I would see Pam there with her dad, taking great care of him in his later years.

Pam was one of the most upbeat folks I’ve ever known.

My thoughts are with her family during this very difficult time.

My deepest condolences to Pam’s family, friends and colleagues. I had the pleasure of working closely with Pam in Farinon for many years. I am so grateful to have had such an amazing role model throughout my time at Lafayette. Her love and commitment to students was inspiring.

Last night, I saw Pam in my dreams. She was vibrant; smiling and happy at a dance. Full of gold and silver balloons and glitter. Full of smiling students. That’s how I would love to remember her.

    May she Rest In Peace.
