Paul James Macher

Paul James Macher, 84 of Palmer Twp., PA died Wednesday, December 1, 2021 at his daughter’s home in Forks Twp., PA. Born in Easton, PA he had been employed by Mack Printing and Schaeffer Appliance in Easton for many years before retiring. He received an associate degree from Northampton County Community College and was a very active member of Faith Lutheran Church in Forks Twp.

He is survived by his wife of 65 years, the former Frances Schurz; 2 daughters: Kimberly Macher (husband Erik Wendt) of Forks Twp., PA, Jamie Gante (husband Jeff) of Camp Hill, PA; brother: George Macher; sister: Gloria Conrad; 4 grandchildren: Joshua, Jeremy, Matthew, Nicole; a great-granddaughter: Alyssa; and 2 step-great grandchildren: Ashley and Christopher.

Services are 2 PM Sunday (Dec. 5) in Faith Lutheran Church, 2012 Sullivan Trail, Easton, PA 18040 with visitation from 1 to 2 PM in the church. Burial will be 11:30 AM Monday in Northampton Memorial Shrine. The Ashton Funeral Home, Easton is handling arrangements.

    I am so sorry to hear this. Paul was such a good and kind-hearted man and he was so good to Mom. My deepest condolences and prayers to the family and hope you find comfort just knowing that he is sitting with his Lord now.

    We are so sorry for the loss of Paul! He was a kind wonderful man who taught us so much at church! He was an awesome teacher!! We will truly miss him! He is resting in the arms of Jesus in his loving care now!! Prayers for Fran and family ❤

    Paul, a truly sweet & good Christian man. As a member of Faith Lutheran, he held Bible classes, and was a great teacher of God’s Word. I will miss his kind greeting. Thinking of his wife & family. Prayers to all. Sharon.

    We are saddened by the earthly loss of our friend. Paul Macher. However our heavy hearts are lightened to know that this good Christian man is resting in the arms of our Lord & Savior, Jesus Christ. Our condolences go out to Fran.
