Raymond L. “Lucky” Warren

Raymond L. “Lucky” Warren, 87, of Easton, died Friday, December 30, 2016 in Easton Hospital.

Born March 15, 1929 in Hamilton Township, Illinois, he was a son of the late Lloyd Leonard and Lucy A. (Davis) Warren.

His wife of 66 years, Shirley J. (Kutzler) Warren died in January 2016.

He was a crane operator for Bethlehem Steel for 40 years and retired in 1991.  He served in the Navy during WWII and was member of River of God Fellowship Church, Easton.

He was a volunteer for Easton Emergency Squad and a member of Easton Senior Center.

Surviving are his children, William L. Warren of Mt. Bethel, Wayne A. Warren of Wind Gap and Wendi L. Warren of Easton; 9 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren and a great great granddaughter.

Services will be 2:00 pm Wednesday, January 4, 2017 in the Ashton Funeral Home, 1337 Northampton St., Easton.  A visitation will be 5 to 6:00 pm Tuesday in the funeral home.  Interment in Northampton Memorial Shrine.

    Wendi, Wayne and Willie,
    So very sorry for you loss. I have great memories of his visits to Illinois and how Grandma Warren and my mom’s face would light up when he visited. He brought great joy to my mom, Judy, and I will always be grateful for that. May God keep you and may your memories of him give you smiles.
