We are so sorry to hear of Bob’s struggle and death. Please accept our condolences from Seattle – we were so proud of Bob in his deep relationship with the community of Easton and the fine contributions he made within the Presbytery.. He was a good pastor and I was glad to have worked with him while we lived in Bethlehem.

My husband, Thomas Mason, died this past August 29th. We had originally planned on Pastor Bob performing the memorial service at Olivet, until we were informed, sadly, of the extent of his illness. In his stead, Rev. Simmons of Easton’s First Presbyterian Church, with whom he was great friends, conducted the service and did a beautiful job. Although our children and I were aware of his illness, it wasn’t until Tom’s memorial service that we learned of his passing. We felt his presence at the service and knew that he was indeed looking down on the congregation at his church, comforting us all. On behalf of myself and Tom’s children, Travis and Brittany, please accept our condolences at this sad time.

We were very sadden at the death of Pastor Bob. We extend our condolences to Pastor Bob’s family and friends, especially his mother Gladys, brother Jim and his wife Noreen, and nieces Aarika and Kara. He will be missed.
Bob was a faithful servant of our Lord Jesus Christ.
It has been my pleasure to be Bob’s secretary while he was Pastor at Olivet. He was very kind, considerate and very easy to get along with. He had a great sense of humor. He was a great boss.
Bob will be missed by members and friends of Olivet. He was a good shepherd.
May God bless and comfort his family and friends.

Bob was a professional colleague and a friend. I always appreciated Bob’s gentle, positive spirit. He approached ministry with a systematic and logical approach which made him effective, but his genuine kindness and love for people was never over shadowed. His grasp of the big picture made him a real asset to the Trustees of the Presbytery. Know that my thought and prayers are with his family and the Olivet church which loved him very much.
