So sad to hear of Rich’s passing. I knew him as gym regular who helped make working out a social function. As I got to know more about him, I learned that his devotion to his mother’s care was his primary function in life. I had the pleasure of meeting Bertha and saw first hand where his genuine kindness came from. Also, I can’t think of Rich without remembering him as a huge St. Louis Cardinals fan. He will truly be missed by all those who knew him.

on this day, Richard’s birthday, I leave my thoughts on my beach buddy. what a great guy. at Seaside Park he a regular me driving 14 minutes over the bridge….we used to chat alot, swim off season and watch each other’s back. at times, we were the only ones on the beach, crazy beach goers usually before a storm brewing with the tide chasing us home. I miss him. lost touch until I finally found his death notice last year. always spoke of his mom, and baseball. he used to call me Angelina. RIP my friend!!
