I was heartbroken to hear the news, and I want you to know that my thoughts and prayers are with you. We worked together at ASH, and he was always a gentleman and a great friend. I am very sorry.

My deep sympathy in learning of Rick’s death. I fondly remember him as a “kid” during the years that I served as pastor of Christ Lutheran (’67-’74); now, long since retired and living on the gulfcoast in southwest FLA. May all who mourn Rick’s loss be strengthened by the ongoing message of Easter: “Christ is Alive; those who believe and have been baptized in Him, will experience Eternal Life, too!” May God grant Rick rest eternal; and, to those who survive him: Shalom/Peace!
