What a truly amazing person and man. I grew up with Dick and Ginny as family friends and was blessed to have had a chance to spend much time with him when I was assigned to the Lafayette ROTC detachment in the mid-80s. We played golf together almost every weekend in the spring and summer – more than I played with my Dad. Dick’s sense of humor and positive outlook on life were inspirational and I will forever cherish his friendship. I know that he and Ginny, m mom and dad, Bob and Phyllis Nolf and Whitey and Helen Pappillon are sitting up in Heaven enjoying some Jazz and a few adult beverages…and many laughs together. Rest easy, Dick!!
