Roslyne B. Smolow, 97, of Palmer Township, died Monday, July 29 2024 in Moravian Hall Square. Born March 3, 1927 in Easton, she was the daughter of the late Louis and Rose (Share) Bugen. Her husband, William J. Smolow died in 2013. She was an elementary school teacher in the Easton Area School District, retiring in 1988. Roslyne was a member of Congregation Bnai Shalom, Easton. She was a member of the Lehigh Valley Bridge Association and had a Life Master ranking in the American Contract Bridge League. She was also a former member of Northampton Country Club.
Surviving are two sons, Mitchell Smolow and his wife, Donna, of Shavertown, PA and Mark Smolow of Nazareth; six grandchildren; and six great granddaughters. She was predeceased by two brothers and three sisters.
Services will be held at 1:00 pm on Wednesday, July 31, 2024 in Bnai Shalom synagogue, 1545 Bushkill St., Easton. Interment will be in Bnai Abraham Cemetery, Forks Township. The Ashton Funeral Home, Easton is handling the arrangements. Memorial contributions may be made to Congregation Bnai Shalom. Offer online condolences at www.AshtonFuneralHome.com.
