Salvatore ‘Sal’ Anthony LoCicero

August 28, 2025

Beloved husband and father Salvatore ‘Sal’ Anthony LoCicero, second son of the late Benedetto and Rosina LoCicero, passed away peacefully in his College Hill home at the age of 83 on 28 August. A venerable, kind and loving man known for his generosity, he experienced a long and successful career in corporate banking before retiring in 2012. He also had a lifelong interest in antique firearms, his collection consisting of an eclectic mix of fine American and foreign made examples some of which won competitive display awards.

A United States Army veteran stationed in the former Federal Republic of Germany at the height of the Cold War, Sal was always there for his sons whether it was help with a school project, driving lessons, sage financial advice or wholehearted support to pursue an advanced degree overseas.

Salvatore is survived by Eileen, his wife of sixty-four years; sons Michael and Scott, daughters-in-law Elena Claudia and Kristin, granddaughter Francesca Eileen; only sister Rosalie Marcozzi; nephew and niece Mario Marcozzi and Marisa Mecchi, their spouses Lynn and Ray; brother Joseph LoCicero and his wife Gayle; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law Stephen and Sylvia DeRea, John and Gail DeRea, nieces Andrea Helfrich and spouse Chad, Lori Kolb and spouse Chris, and four great nephews.

Services will be private. The Ashton Funeral Home, Easton is handling the arrangements. Offer online condolences at www.AshtonFuneralHome.com.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Tunnel to Towers Foundation, www.t2t.org

And maybe grief comes to you
On a Sunday
When you have nothing to do
The world is shining
The breeze is perfect
But your soul lies there dying
