Sandra Lee “Sandy” Simonetta, 70, formerly of Wilson Borough, PA died Monday, August 3, 2020 at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Muhlenberg. Born February 5, 1950 in Easton she was a daughter of the late Barbara (Buckman) and Rocco Simonetta. Sandy loved babies, animals, dogs and ceramics which she enjoyed sharing with her family and friends.

She is survived by her sister: Claire Grosso (Frank) of Washington, NJ; her niece: Nicole Simeone (Savanah) with whom she had resided; great nieces/nephew: Gianna Kegler, Xavier Kegler, Harlow and Madison Simeone and her best friends: Lenore Barnes and Jill Robinson. She was predeceased by her parents and sisters: JoAnne and Diane Simonetta.

Visitation is 6 to 7:30 PM Thursday in the Ashton Funeral Home, 1337 Northampton St., Easton with a graveside service 11 AM Friday, August 7 at Northampton Memorial Shrine, 3051 Green Pond Rd., Easton.

    There are no words to describe what Sandra meant to generations of us who grew up on and around Ferry Street. She was our constant and touched so many lives.

    Sandy was one of us “The Ferry Street Gang”♥️ You would always see her taking walks around our neighborhood.
    She had a beautiful aura about her and will be missed by all.
    No doubt in my mind that she was met at the gates of Heaven by Rocky, Barbara, Diane and Joanne❣️

    Sandra as I remember was a loving caring friendly person. She did love family and animals. RIP SANDRA you are with the Angels and I’m sure everyone was there to welcome you with open arms. Claire and family my the Blessings of the Lord give you peace and understanding.
