From the time I was little, and Uncle Tom lived with us while attending Eastern Baptist many moons ago, he’s been special in my heart. His incredible dry humor and love of pranks would keep me laughing always. His love for Aunt Peg and all of my cousins was ever apparent. But most of all, his love of God showed itself plainly in all he did, and I loved the discussions we would have about Bible passages in which we didn’t “quite” agree on everything. All in love. These past few years being able to catch up with him in emails and on Facebook was wonderful. Referring to himself as my “favrit” uncle, I had to respond in kind because I knew I was his “favrit” niece! I’m so glad he’s now with my mom, Uncle Glenn and Nana and PopPop Heywood, and they’re all rejoicing and dancing and singing with Jesus! We hope to see you soon! xoxo

I worked with Tom at FFIC. Sorry to hear of his passing. We had good times at work. Our prayers are with you and your family. Nice to know he had a wonderful retirement and a such a large and loving family. Grandchildren are a very special gift to us from God.
