Vi Chanh Phan

Vi Chanh Phan, 83, of Palmer Township, died Tuesday, February 18, 2025 in St. Luke’s Hospice House. Born April 2, 1941 in Vietnam, he was the son of the late Den Tien Phan and Nga Phung Phu. He worked for Circle Systems, Easton Hospital, and Opt Industries. He attended Vietnamese Gospel Mennonite Church and Palmer Moravian Church.

Surviving are his wife, On T. Nguyen; two daughters, Van Phan-Hewson and Chau Phan-Jones; a son, Tuan Gia Phan; a sister, Lien Ai Phan; seven brothers, Thuan Chanh Phan, Hung Chanh Phan, Tu Chanh Phan, The Chanh Phan, Duyen Chanh Phan, Ty Chanh Phan, and Mien Chanh Phan; six grandchildren; and four great grandchildren. He was predeceased by his first wife, Anh Hang.

Services will be held from 11:00am to 1:00 pm on Saturday, February 22, 2025 in the Ashton Funeral Home, 1337 Northampton St., Easton. A visitation will be held from 4:00 to 6:00 pm on Friday in the funeral home. Interment will be in Northampton Memorial Shrine. Offer online condolences at www.AshtonFuneralHome.com.

    Our hearts are sad knowing Vi is gone. He was a good man and caring neighbor. We will miss his smile.

    Van, Tony ,Darrel and family,

    I am so sorry for your loss. I’m grateful I met your father and could say good bye to him. He was a very nice person and to me had a kind soul.
