I am saddened at your loss. I will make a donation to the Second Harvest Food Bank of Middle Tennessee in memory of Rodger’s dad. Based upon the obituary, I know it is an organization that Mr. Oren would have supported if he lived in the Nashville area.

to Walter’s family- I am so sorry for your loss. I worked with Walter for many years when I was a young man. We had many good times as well as good laughs with the old gang. Thank you, Walter, for taking me under your wing. I am still in the quarry. You will be missed. You were part of the greatest generation. My thoughts and prayers are with your family. Say hi to the old gang! Dale Schreck

Walter loved that 90th Birthday party–he never thought he’d make it to 90. He was an ox. He was physically and mentally strong, and you have to have both. There’s a time to be here and a time to part. We’re all just on loan to each other. I loved those blue eyes and dimples. He was some guy.
