William Franklin Noe of Bethlehem Twp., PA died Wednesday, September 8, 2021, at Country Meadows at the age of 82. He was born in Indianapolis, IN on January 17, 1939, to the late Elma (Mark) and Vernon Noe. He and his wife, the former Geraldine Kautz, would have been married 60 years in October. When Bill was a child, the family moved to Denver, CO due to his mother’s health. He attended South High School, then joined the Army on February 9, 1956. After serving his country for four years, he was hired by Mountain Bell Telephone Company, later transferring to AT&T in San Diego.
He always had a passion for drag racing and cars. After retiring, he enrolled in City Community College’s automotive program, bought a rusty-bucket-of-bolts Vega, and spent a year restoring it – after which he referred to himself as “the Doctor of Motors.” In 2009, Bill and Jeri moved to the Lehigh Valley in order to play a big part in the lives of their three cherished grandchildren and quickly became a part of the in-law Fox family. They faithfully attended Calvary Baptist Church in Bethlehem Twp.
He is survived by his wife, Geraldine; daughter Angela Fox and her husband Mark of Forks Twp., PA; and three grandchildren: Ethan, Brandon and Natalie. His brother Glenn died earlier.
To honor Bill’s wishes, there will not be a funeral. Offer online condolences at www.AshtonFuneralHome.com. Memorial contributions may be made to Faith Christian School, 122 Dante St., Roseto, PA 18013

Jeri, Bless you and your family, these times are not easy but hug those grandchildren an extra time or two. They are what will keep your world revolving. So sorry for your loss.
