Beatrice Dora Kutsopias

Beatrice Dora Kutsopias, 85, of Phillipsburg, NJ  passed away Wednesday, April 11, 2012 at Manor Care Old Orchard surrounded by her loved ones.

Born: February 16, 1927 in Warren Glen, NJ she was a daughter of the late Walter and Veronica Stoneback Pfeiffer. Her husband John Thomas Kutsopias died in 2000.

Personal: She attended Phillipsburg HS and worked at Dixie products until she married when she then worked in the family owned business, The Sweet Shop in Easton. She was employed as a nurse’s aide for 28 years at Warren Hospital in the pediatric ward until she retired. Beatrice enjoyed going to yard sales, gardening and just being with family.

Memberships: She was a member of the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church, Easton.

Survivors: Children: Johnette Lyn Bennett of Easton; Kimberley Rothenbeck of Stewartsville, NJ; half-sister: Margaret Attinello; 3 sister-in-laws: Rose Pfeiffer, Elaine Mitsos, Margaret Kapsalis; 4 grandchildren: Alexis Harvey, Justen Bennett, Kailey Rothenbeck; Dora Kutsopias; 3 great-grandchildren and 24 nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband John; son: Thomas W. in 2007; and grandson: Kody Rothenbeck in 2010.

Services: 1:30 p.m. Monday in the church, 20th and Hay Terrace, Easton; with visitation from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Sunday in the Ashton Funeral Home, 14th and Northampton Sts., Easton. Interment will be in Easton Cemetery.

Memorial Contributions: May be made to the Kody Rothenbeck Memorial Scholarship Fund % Warren County Community College

    Johnette, Dora & family, I am sorry for your loss. After working so long with Tom, I got to know you all. She was a wonderful woman. You are all in my thoughts & prayers.
