Bhanushanker R. Shukla, 88, formerly of Wilson Borough died Friday, April 6, 2012 in John F. Kennedy Medical Center, Edison, NJ.
Born: July 27, 1923 in Chuda, India he was a son of the late Ravishanker and Naval Ben Shukla. His wife: Bhanumati Shukla died in 2010.
Personal: He had been employed at Easton Hospital before retiring and was the Consumer Business Senior Sales Rep for ESSO Standard Limited.
Memberships: He was a member of the Foundation Committee of the Hindu Temple Society, Allentown.
Survivors: 8 children: Jyoti Raval, Nila Vyas, Oorvanshi Joshi, Yogesh Shukla, Surbhi Pandya, Rajesh Shukla, Chaitnya Shukla, Oodaye Shukla, 12 grandchildren and 1 great-granddaughter.
Services: Will be private; the Ashton Funeral Home, Easton is handling the arrangements.
Memorial Contributions: May be made to the Hindu Temple of LV, 4200 Airport Rd., Allentown, PA 18109.

I had the privilege of meeting Mr.Shukla over 25 years ago when he provided spiritual comfort to someone dear to me. He contributed generously , in many ways , to the community in general and the Hindu community in particular.
He was a good human being. My condolences to the family, I and my family share your sorrow.
