Charles F. Trux, 85, of North Port, FL, died Sunday, January 8, 2012 in Florida.
Born: April 2, 1926 in Phillipsburg, NJ he was a son of the late Alois and Mae Trux.
Personal: Charles was very involved with his community, serving as Auditor for Palmer Township as well as serving on the Zoning Board. He retired from J.T. Baker Chemical Company-Proctor and Gamble after 42 years and was a member of the Quarter Century Club.
Memberhips:He was on the Board of Directors of the Weller Center for Health Education and the United Way of Northampton County. He was a member of the TABS Society and the Republican Club of Palmer Township.
Survivors: He is survived by his loving wife, Margaret J. Trux; his daughters, Christine Trux, Cynthia Trux and Charlene Trux; and granddaughter, Katie Butler.
Services: A Memorial Service will be held at 6:30 p.m. Thursday (3/8) in the Ashton Funeral Home, 1337 Northampton St., Easton; with a calling period from 6 to 6:30 p.m.and reception at the YR CLub following the service.
