Derek J. Hank

Derek J. Hank, 42, of Wilson Borough, died Sunday, August 16, 2026 in his home. Born January 24, 1984 in Wilson Borough, he was the son of Sharon (Nero) Buss and the late Bruce Hank. He and his wife, Kerri (Finney) Hank were together for 26 years.

Derek worked for Bosch Corporation, Bethlehem for ten years and was a snowboard instructor at Blue Mountain Ski Resort. He graduated from Easton Area High School and received a degree in Graphic Design from Northampton Community College. He was also an avid cyclist who participated in Bike MS to help raise funds and awareness for multiple sclerosis.

Surviving in addition to his wife, Kerri and his mother, Sharon, are his siblings, Niccole Curran and her husband, Mike, Stacy Martin and her husband, Josh, John Febbo, IV and his wife, Krysta, Bruce Hank, Jr., and Alyssa Leslie and her husband, William; his stepmother, Rose Hank; and many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be held from 4:30 to 6:00 pm on Friday, August 21, 2026 in the Ashton Funeral Home, 1337 Northampton St., Easton. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association, www.diabetes.org. Offer online condolences at www.AshtonFuneralHome.com.
