Kaylynn Michelle Weikel, 26, of Wilson Borough, died Friday, July 17, 2026 in her home. Born October 8, 1999 in Fountain Hill, she was the daughter of Amber (Snyder) Serfass and Cory Weikel. She graduated from Wilson Area High School in 2018 where she was a member of the track and field team, the basketball team, the soccer team, the softball team, the swim team and the chorus. Kaylynn was a member of the former Good Shepherd Lutheran Church and was a lifeguard at Meuser Pool.
Surviving are her mother, Amber (Snyder) Serfass and her husband, Jarrod; her father Cory Weikel and his wife, Daralis; her mother, Harreen “Meme” Giebler; siblings, Addison Serfass, Avery Serfass, Kyle Neuls, Colin Zacharias and Logan Weikel; grandparents, Eileen Snyder, Theresa and Rickie Snyder and Shirley and Chris Weikel; and an uncle, Timothy Weikel and his wife, Stephanie.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, July 25, 2026 in the Ashton Funeral Home, 1337 Northampton St., Easton. A visitation will be held from 10:00 to 11:00 am on Saturday in the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Pediatric Cancer Foundation of the Lehigh Valley, www.pcflv.org. Condolences to Kaylynn’s Meme. I knew Kaylynn through my granddaughter Arianna when they were in school. She was a beautiful, kind child and a wonderful athlete and had a beautiful voice. I have had Kaylynn in my prayers for many years since she had become ill while in Wilson high. May she rest in peace in loving arms of our Lord Jesus Christ.
