Lois A. Emsweller

Lois A. Emsweller, 89, of Easton, died Sunday, February 25, 2024 in her home. Born November 28, 1934 on Staten Island, she was the daughter of the late Rolf and Evelyn (Veeck) Dallmer. Lois was a lab technician at Warren Hospital for many years and was a member of the Easton Chapter of URW.

Surviving are her husband, Herbert G. Emsweller; a son, Todd Emsweller and his wife, Nancy of Easton; a daughter, Dawn Sandie and her husband, Kent of California; a sister, Susan Cartmell; a brother, Douglas Dallmer; four grandchildren, Michael, Melissa, Adam, and Andrew; and four great grandchildren, Charlotte, George, Calvary, and Ella.

Services will be private. The Ashton Funeral Home, Easton is handling the arrangements. Memorial contributions may be made to Palmer Municipal Fire Department, 3 Weller Place, Palmer PA 18045. Offer online condolences at www.AshtonFuneralHome.com.

    I am so sorry to hear of Lois’s passing. We worked together in the laboratory at Warren Hospital. She was a good friend and lovely coworker. My deepest sympathy to her family.

    Lois was the talent in the family, I learned so much from her over the years, gardening, cooking & baking, thriftiness!!!
    I was always so impressed with everything she did & organized!!
    She gave excellent advice when needed, & im more than grateful for all of it.
    I loved her & my Brother always looked up to them
    God Bless her on her journey & look after Herb.

    Herb & Family, our deepest condolences for your loss. We fondly remember the many rounds of golf we enjoyed with Lois while playing in the Highlands’ Monday Golf outings. Lois was a wonderful lady, and she will be missed by her many friends.

    Herb and Family, Lois was a wonderful person who enjoyed her life both in Florida and in Pennsylvania .She was a very gracious hostess in Florida. We have fine memories of Herb and Lois relaxing with us in sunny Florida.

    My older cousin and role model, Lois always seemed to me to know how to do things. An important relative in the larger Dallmer family reunions, in many ways, she kept it all going. She will be remembered as thoughtful, inspirational, and fun to be with.
