Linda L. Boyle, 74, of Easton, died September 13, 2016 in Easton Hospital.

Born August 12, 1942 in Burlington, NJ, she was a daughter of the late Lewis and Dorothy (Fennimore) Parker.

Linda delivered newspapers for the Express-Times in Phillipsburg and Tatamy for 20 years.  She also worked for Noodle Kidoodle, Phillipsburg.

She was an avid animal lover and assisted in rescuing and placing countless homeless cats.

Surviving are her daughter, Lori L. French of Easton, her brother, Lewis Parker, and her sisters, Carol Thompson and Terri Lech.  Her sister, Lois Andersen died earlier.

Pauline V. Kester, 85 of Williams Twp., PA died Saturday, September 10, 2016 at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Muhlenberg under the care of Lehigh Valley Hospice.  Born January 10, 1931 in Williams Twp. she was a daughter of the late Elvin and Anna Hockman. She and her husband Donald Kester shared 57 years together.

Pauline had been a cheerleader at Clinton HS, NJ and employed by King’s Cleaners in Easton and Carney’s Cleaners in Wilson. But she most enjoyed her time cleaning for the elderly in the area and loving each and every one of them. She was an active member of Christ United Methodist Church, Easton and a member of the Williams Twp. Emergency Squad and the Williams Twp. Women’s Auxiliary.

She is survived by her husband Donald; daughters: Beverly Schenewolf and her husband Joe of Palmer Twp., Donna Allen and her husband Steven of Williams Twp., Stella George and her husband Bill of Palmer Twp.; sister and brothers: Joyce, Edward, Ronald, Palmer, Donald and Simon; 5 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. A grandson, a great-granddaughter and siblings: Sim, Dorothy, Carrie, Elizabeth and George all died earlier .

Services are 10:30 AM Wednesday (Sept. 14) in the Ashton Funeral Home, 1337 Northampton St.,  Easton, with visitation 6 PM to 7:30 PM Tuesday in the funeral home. Interment is in South Easton Cemetery.

Dr. Jonathan Warren, 73, of Easton, died Thursday, September 8, 2016 in his home.

Born October 5, 1942 in Brooklyn, NY, he was a son of the late Jack and Frances (Gordon) Warren.  He and his wife, Andrea (Maurer) Warren, were married 46 years.

Dr. Warren was a physician in Easton for over 40 years and retired in 2011.  He served in the Navy during the Vietnam War and was a graduate of Rutgers University.  He earned his medical degree from Jefferson Medical College and completed his residency at Philadelphia General Hospital.

Surviving with his wife, Andrea, are a daughter, Becky Russell and her husband, Jeff, of Allentown; three sons, Tim Warren of Hoboken, NJ, Brad Warren and his wife, Jackie, of Baltimore, MD, and Dan Warren and his wife, Sherry, of Allentown; a brother, Matthew Warren; a sister, Cheryl Ravenscraft; and 6 grandchildren.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at 7:00 pm on Monday, September 12, 2016 in B’nai Abraham Synagogue, 1545 Bushkill St., Easton.  A visitation will be held from 5:30 pm to 7:00 pm on Monday in the Synagogue.

Joel David Sales, 73, of Palmer Twp., PA died Tuesday, September 6, 2016 at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Cedar Crest. Born October 19, 1942 in Fountain Hill, PA he was a son of the late Irene (Rice) and Harrison T. Sales. He and his wife, the former Martha Newhart were married 49 years.

He was a 1960 graduate of Wilson High School, a 1966 graduate of Ursinus College and he received his Master’s Degree from Philadelphia University.  Joel was a teacher at the Wissahickon School District for many years before retiring and a volunteer for the Bethlehem Area Public Library and Meals on Wheels.

He is survived by his wife Martha; two daughters: Amy E. Sales of Nazareth, Jean E. Sales of Palmer Twp., and a brother: David A. Sales and his wife Eileen of Bethlehem Twp., PA. He was predeceased by two brothers: Eben H. Sales and Peter R. Sales.

A calling period will be held from 10 AM to noon on Saturday (Sept. 10) in the Ashton Funeral Home, 1337 Northampton St., Easton. Services will be at the convenience of the family.
