Michael S. Andrews

Michael Sean Andrews, 49 of Richmond, VA formerly of Easton, PA died suddenly Saturday, January 16, 2016 in Richmond, VA. Born September 29, 1966 in Easton he was a son of Mary (McAuliffe) Andrews of Nazareth, PA and the late Paul “Dewey” Andrews, Sr.

A 1984 graduate of Easton High School, he was an Executive Chef for the Phillip Morris Corporation in Richmond for several years. Prior to that he was the Chef at the Jefferson Hotel in Richmond.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by a son: Jacob; a daughter: Halle; and a brother: James. He was predeceased by his father and a brother: Paul, Jr.

Services are 10:30 a.m. Friday, January 22 in the Ashton Funeral Home, 1337 Northampton St., Easton, with visitation 7 to 8 p.m. Thursday in the funeral home. Interment: Northampton Memorial Shrine.

Shirlee J. Warren

Shirlee J. Warren, 85, of Easton, died Friday, January 15, 2016 in Easton Hospital.

Born November 16, 1930 in Easton, she was a daughter of the late William D. and Margaret A. (Bartholomew) Kutzler.

She and her husband, Raymond L. “Lucky” Warren were married 66 years.

Shirlee was an Avon representative in the Easton area since 1966.  She graduated from Easton High School in 1948 and was member of River of God Fellowship Church.  She was a volunteer for the Easton Emergency Squad and had served as treasurer for the Easton Area Christian Women’s Club.

Surviving with her husband, Lucky, are two sons, William L. Warren of Johnsonville and Wayne A. Warren of Wind Gap; a daughter, Wendi L. Warren of Easton; a brother, Robert V. Kutzler of Palmer Township; a sister, Florence E. “Tinker” Flory of Wilson Borough; 9 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.  Her brothers, Donald B. Kutzler and Roger W. Kutzler and her sister, Linda J. Erk died earlier.

Services will be held at 10:00 am on Wednesday, January 20, 2016 in the Ashton Funeral Home, 1337 Northampton St., Easton.  A visitation will be held from 6 – 7:00 pm on Tuesday in the funeral home.  Interment will be in Northampton Memorial Shrine.  Offer online condolences at www.AshtonFuneralHome.com.

Roger G. Reibman

Roger G. Reibman

Roger G. Reibman, 62 of Bethlehem Twp., PA passed away unexpectedly Friday, January 15, 2016. Born July 19, 1953 in Easton, PA he was a son of the late Charles and Helen (Gold) Reibman. Roger was a 1971 graduate of Easton Area High School and earned several Associate Degrees from the Northampton County Community College. He was a licensed Real Estate Broker and Agent and former Bethlehem Twp. Commissioner.

Roger has been employed by the Pennsylvania State Turnpike for 24 years. Prior to that he was employed by Acme Supermarkets for several years.

Roger’s true passion was sales. He loved to sell sports related merchandise at various venues throughout the Tri-State area. He was a conversationalist who appreciated the gathering of intriguing information, both grand and small; and he enjoyed the company of others along with an excellent meal.

He is survived by his brothers: Glenn and his wife Sue Ann, Gordon and his wife Elaine; a sister-in-law: Diana; his nephews: Clay, Matthew and Mark; and his niece: Morgan. He was predeceased by his parents and his brother Ronald.

Services are 11:00 AM Thursday, (Jan. 21) in the Temple Covenant of Peace, 1451 Northampton St., Easton, PA with interment in Easton Cemetery. The Ashton Funeral Home, Easton is handling arrangements.

Jacquelyn M. Price

Jacquelyn M. Price, 88, of Bethlehem, died Friday, January 15, 2016 in St. Luke’s Hospice House.

Born December 12, 1927 in Easton, she was a daughter of the late Kenneth and Pearl (Switzgable) Searles.

Her husband, William H. Price, Jr. died in 1974.

She was a secretary in the Engineering Department at Lafayette College.

Surviving are a daughter, Jeannette Price and a son, William Price.

Services are private.  Interment is in Easton Cemetery.

Carol Ann Seese

Carol Ann Seese, 62, of Easton, PA died Monday, January 11, 2016 at Easton Hospital. Born February 24, 1953 in Easton she was a daughter of the late Florence (Kilpatrick) and Earl Seese. She had previously been employed by the Praxis Alzheimer’s Facility in Easton as a nurse’s aide.

She is survived by a daughter: Sharri Seese with whom she resided and a son: Carey Seese of Easton.

Services are at the convenience of the family; the Ashton Funeral Home, Easton is handling the arrangements.

Rickey L. Bartholomew

Rickey L. Bartholomew, 48, of Glendon, died Sunday, January 10, 2016 in his home.

Born August 15, 1967 in Phillipsburg, NJ, he was a son of Carl W. Bartholomew and the late Emma Jane (Rissmiller) Bartholomew.

Surviving with his father are his children, Rickey and Christopher; his sister, Tammy Walker and a granddaughter.  His brother, Carl died earlier.

Malinda M. VanSyckle

Malinda M. VanSyckle, 48, of Nazareth, died Sunday, January 10, 2016 in her home.

Born April 28, 1967 in Easton, she was a daughter of William VanSyckle, Jr. and his wife, Joyce and Bonnie (Golden) Mammana and her husband, Peter.

Malinda worked at ManorCare, Old Orchard for over 15 years.  She was a member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, Wilson Borough and was a Girl Scout leader in Nazareth.

Surviving with her parents are her children, Richard, Tiffany and Sarah Bachman and her sisters, Denise VanSyckle, Shannon Wickkiser and her husband, Tristan and Jennifer Lesak.  Her brother, William VanSyckle, III died earlier.

Oley L. Cunningham

Oley L. Cunningham, 87, of Palmer Twp., PA passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 9, 2016, surrounded by family at St. Luke’s Hospice House. Born February 13, 1928 in Charleston, WV, he was a son of the late Dennis and Mabel (Lynch) Cunningham. He married the former Marian Adams on April 9, 1955 in Avon, NY.  They celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary in August with family at Lake George, NY, a very special place rich in family memories.

He was an Electrical Engineer by trade, retiring from ITT in 1993.  His passions were his family, photography, geology, tennis and the great outdoors.  He was a child magnet, able to settle even the most upset grandchild with his calming presence.  He focused his photography on nature, believing nothing or no one should stand in the way of a great view.  Through pictures he captured the world, documenting all of his travels with family and friends.  Even in his eighties, he looked forward to his weekly tennis matches and putting his killer slice to use.  He was a gentle soul but fiercely competitive on the tennis court.  He could build or fix anything, was up for any challenge, and always willing to lend a helping hand.

He is survived by his wife: Marian Cunningham; their three daughters: Carol McKennan and husband Andy of Fort Collins, CO, Meg Yohe of Lancaster, PA and Amy Phillips and husband Mike of Palmer, PA; five grandchildren: Victoria Arntsen, Abby McKennan, Ben Yohe, Kara Phillips, and Michael Phillips; two brothers: Robert Cunningham of St. Albans, WV and Dennis Cunningham of Senaca, SC.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 to 7:00 PM, Friday, January 15 at the Ashton Funeral Home, 1337 Northampton Street, Easton, PA.
