Autumn J. Smith

Autumn J. Smith, 80, of Saylorsburg, PA died Sunday, July 26, 2015 at Easton Hospital. Born September 28, 1934 in Easton, PA she was a daughter of the late Melvin Clark and Verna (Reiff) Clark Odenwelder and John W. Odenwelder.

A graduate of Easton High School, she had been employed by the Joseph’s Men’s Store, Stride-Rite Shoes and Auerbach Travel Agency for several years. She was a member of St. John’s United Church of Christ, Nazareth, PA.

She is survived by her husband of 61 years: Woodrow L.; 4 sons: Craig A. and his wife Pamela of Saylorsburg, Terry C. and his wife Barbara of Stroudsburg, PA, Jan M. and his wife Linda of Bozran, CT, Todd P. and his wife Diana of Altoona, PA; sisters: Linda Mozzachio, Michele Worman; 9 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. A brother John, II died in infancy.

Services are 11 AM Thursday, July 30 in the Ashton Funeral Home, 1337 Northampton St., Easton, PA with a calling period from 10 to 11 AM. Interment will be in Easton Cemetery.

Timothy A. Tracy

Timothy A. Tracy, 57 of Kresgeville, PA died Sunday, July 26, 2015 at home. Born March 20, 1958 in Flemington, NJ he was a son of the late Arthur and Helen (Wolfarth) Tracy. He and his wife Linda would have been married 30 years in August.

He is survived by his wife: Linda; brother: Kevin Tracy of Long Valley, NJ and sister: Kathleen Benoit of Wilmington, NC.

A Memorial service will be held 5 p.m. Friday (July 31) in the Ashton Funeral Home, 1337 Northampton St., Easton, PA with a calling period from 4 to 5 p.m.

John D. Mundy

John D. Mundy

John D. Mundy, 67, of Nazareth, PA died Saturday, July 25, 2015 at ManorCare Health Services, Palmer Twp., PA. Born June 27, 1948 in Coaldale, PA he was a son of the late John and Helen (Gallagher) Mundy. He and his wife Deborah (Hann) Mundy have been married for 45 years.

He was a Policeman and Canine Officer with the Easton Police Department for 22 years before retiring. Following his retirement he worked security at Disney World in Florida for 13 years and at Walgreen’s Distribution Center in Bethlehem Twp., PA for 7 years. He was a graduate of Notre Dame High School and had been a crossing guard at the Easton Area Middle School.

He is survived by his wife: Deborah; son: John “Jack” Mundy, Jr. and his wife Angelique of Schuylkill Haven, PA; daughter: Heather Grube and her husband William of Coaker Creek, TN; sisters: Ann Bock Stefanel of Easton, PA, Jeannie Johnson of Bethlehem Twp., PA; 7 grandchildren: Hannah, William Angus, Emily and Sera Grube, Hailey, Ryan and Andrew Mundy; and his dogs: Ruby and Spanky.

Services are 10:30 a.m. Wednesday (July 29) in the Ashton Funeral Home, 1337 Northampton St., Easton, PA with visitation 6 to 7:30 p.m. Tuesday in the funeral home. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery, Harmony, NJ.

Mohinder Kaur

Mohinder Kaur, 67, of Lopatcong Township died Friday, July 24, 2015 in St. Luke’s Hospital.

Born March 23, 1948 in Punjab, India, she was a daughter of Narjan Singh and Surjit Kaur.

Surviving are her husband, Tariochan Singh; two sons, Daljit Singh and Tejinder Singh; a daughter, Sarbjeet Kaur; and four grandchildren.

Services were held on Saturday, August 1, 2015 in the Ashton Funeral Home, Easton.

June C. Johnson

June C. Johnson, 92 formerly of Marblehead, MA and Forks Twp., PA died Thursday, July 23, 2015 at Country Meadows, Bethlehem Twp., PA. Born June 21, 1923 in Maynard, MA she was a daughter of the late Clarence and Minerva (Morash) Carbary.

She was a graduate of the Katherine Gibbs Secretarial School and a tour guide for a bus company in Massachusetts for many years. She had also been a nursery school teacher, Girl School leader and member of the Friendship Force. June was an active tennis player, golfer and square dancer and she especially enjoyed her many years with extended family at Camp Wulamet in New Hampshire.

She is survived by her daughter: Cynthia GaNun of South Plainfield, NJ; brothers: Arthur and Charlie Carbary; 5 grandchildren: Derek Johnson, Janna Dowdell, Kevin Johnson, Jason GaNun, Jennifer GaNun; 8 great-grandchildren; and daughter-in-law: Donna Johnson. She was predeceased by her husband Ken Johnson; her son: Ken Johnson; 4 brothers and 2 sisters.

A Celebration of her Life will be held 11 AM Friday, July 31 at Green Pond United Methodist Church, 4411 Green Pond Rd., Easton, PA with a calling period from 10 to 11 AM in the church. The Ashton Funeral Home, Easton, PA is handling arrangements.

Keith L. Kutzler

Keith L. Kutzler, 37 of Effort, PA died Friday, July 17, 2015 at home. Born May 29, 1978 in Easton, PA he was the son of Roger W. and Patty (Long) Kutzler of McMichaels, PA.

A 1996 graduate of Pleasant Valley High School, he was employed by Chrysler Dodge of the Poconos for 15 years. He coached wrestling at Pen Argyl Junior High School and Pleasant Valley Junior High School and he coached his sons in baseball. Keith played ice hockey, football and loved motocross racing and hare scrambles.

He is survived by his parents: Roger and Patty; his wife of 13 years: Alison (Rush); 2 sons: Gage and Tanner at home; 2 brothers: Rob of Newtown, PA, Kyle of McMichaels, PA and his grandmother: Anna Kutzler of Easton, PA.

Services are 11 AM Thursday, July 23 in the Ashton Funeral Home, 1337 Northampton St., Easton, PA, with visitation 6:30 to 8 PM Wednesday in the funeral home. Those in attendance are asked to dress as you knew Keith.

Barbara Ann Campbell

Barbara A. Campbell

Barbara Ann Campbell, 81 of Forks Twp., PA passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Thursday, July 16, 2015 at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Cedar Crest. Born Sept. 29, 1933 in Easton, PA she was the daughter of the late Helen (Conrad) and Naaman Helm. Her husband of 58 years, Douglas A. Campbell died in 2014.

A 1955 Summa Cum Laude graduate from Wilson Area High School, she received a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from West Chester University and a Master’s degree in Education from Marywood University.  She retired from the Wilson Area School District after teaching for more than 25 years.  She was a member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, Wilson and had served on the Women’s Board of Easton Hospital.

She enjoyed traveling worldwide, watching her grandchildren’s baseball, softball and soccer games, bowling, quilting, reading, exercising and she was an avid bridge player. She also enjoyed spending time with family and friends at her second home in Vero Beach, FL and was blessed to have the companionship of lifelong friends.

She is lovingly remembered by a son: David L. Campbell and his wife Stacy of Forks Twp., PA, daughters: Deborah L. Gibson and her husband Kim of Columbia, IL, Cherie Y. Sperlbaum and her husband Jeffrey of New Tripoli, PA; a brother: Harold Helm of Tatamy, PA; six grandchildren: Justin Gibson, Garrett and Samantha Sperlbaum, Collin, Courtney and Brayden Campbell and two great-grandchildren:  Brendan and Harper Gibson. She was predeceased by a son: Todd Douglas Campbell.

Services are 10:30 a.m. Wednesday (July 22) in Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 2115 Washington Blvd., Easton with visitation 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. in the church. Interment will be in Hope Cemetery, Hecktown. The Ashton Funeral Home, Easton is handling the arrangements.

Louisa V. Border

Louisa V. Border, 96, formerly of Forks Township, died Thursday, July 16, 2015 in Gracedale.

Born January 31, 1919 in Easton, she was a daughter of the late Howard and Edith (Wallaesa) Seiple.

She was a cosmetologist at Pomeroy’s and Hess’s in Easton for many years.

Louisa enjoyed skating at Bushkill Park as a youth and was an avid gardener.

Surviving are two sons, Elwood D. “Sonny” Border of Palmer Township and Joe F. Border of Palmer Township; three daughters, Marjie L. Souder of Berwick, PA, Sandy L. Hutchison of Bristol, VA, and Diana C. Kellmer of Nanicoke, PA;  12 grandchildren; 34 great grandchildren; and 13 great great grandchildren.  Her son, William Border died at birth and her three siblings all died earlier.

Services will be held at 10:30 am on Tuesday, July 21, 2015 in the Ashton Funeral Home, 1337 Northampton St., Easton.  A visitation will be held from 9:00 am until service time on Tuesday in the funeral home.  Interment will be in Northampton Memorial Shrine.
