Dolores M. Gabour, 86, of Forks Twp., PA died Thursday, April 9, 2020 at ManorCare Easton, PA. Born December 15, 1933 in Easton she was a daughter of the late Alfred and Anna (Kowalski) Ricca. A 1951 graduate of Easton High School, she received her RN from the University of PA School of Nursing in 1954 (Class of the June Bugs). She was the nurse for Dr. Raymond Wing for many years and Dr. Anne Adolf at the end of her career. She was of the Catholic faith.

She is survived by her children: Jane Buckman of Bensalem, PA, John Gabour of Palmer Twp., Anne Goldstein and Mary Maida of Forks Twp., PA; a sister: Barbara Santangelo of Springfield, VA; 5 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; 5 nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Richard M. Gabour in 1995 and her sister Mary Catherine Trinchere in 2011.

Services are private due to the coronavirus guidelines; the Ashton Funeral Home, Easton is handling arrangements. Interment is in Northampton Memorial Shrine. Harry “Zvi” Grines, 81 of Bethlehem Twp., PA died Friday, April 3, 2020 at Gracedale. Born April 15, 1938 in Russia, he was a son of the late Wolf and Hana (Birenbaum) Grines. He was a Master Sergeant in the Israeli Army and was a member of the Jewish War Veterans in NJ. He had been employed by Carpenter Technology in Union, NJ for many years before retiring. He was a member of Temple Brith Shalom in Bethlehem, the MORA Club of Bethlehem and had enjoyed playing soccer professionally in Israel. Surviving is his wife of 52 years, Paula (Rosenfeld) Grines.

Norma B. (Anderson) Cray passed away peacefully the evening of 3/31/20 at Abington Manor Senior Living in Easton, PA where she resided since September 2019. She was the widow of Verne A. Cray who preceded her in death in 1990. Born on September 5, 1924 she lived a full life and celebrated her 95th birthday with family and friends last fall.

She was born in Saint Albans, Vermont the daughter of Earle and Isabelle Anderson and moved to the Easton area as a child. She married her husband Verne Cray in 1941 and they had two children and made their home in Palmer Township.

Norma worked for many years for Easton News Company and retired from there in 1987. She was a dedicated employee with a strong work ethic. She was a member of Green Pond United Methodist Church for many years.

Survivors include her daughter Sandra Murto and her husband Thomas of Sachse, TX and her son William Cray and his wife Sandra of Bethlehem, PA along with 10 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her two sisters Marian Brown and Joyce Werkheiser.

Due to the COVID-19 restrictions, a memorial service will be announced at a later time. The Ashton Funeral Home, Easton is handling the arrangements. Norma’s family would like to thank the staff at Abington Manor, St. Luke’s Hospice and Om Sharma, MD and Kristen Brobst, CRNP for their loving care and compassion. You were all a huge part of our lives these past several months and are very much appreciated.

Barbara J Storm, 80, formerly of Wilson Borough, passed away on Tuesday, March 31, 2020 at 6:10 am in Gracedale Nursing Home in Nazareth due to complications of COVID-19 and dementia.

Born July 18, 1939 in Wilson Borough PA, she was the daughter of the late Edward F. Storm Jr. and Erma June “Dear” Miller. She moved to her parent’s house in Wilson Borough in 1978 after her parents passed, where she lived until her placement in Gracedale on March 26, 2016. She was a homemaker and enjoyed bowling, collecting Precious Moments, taking care of all of her numerous dogs and cats she adopted over the years and especially taking care of her granddaughter, “the apple of her eye”, Meagan E. Reibman.

Barbara graduated from Wilson Area High School, class of 1957 and attended Bloomsburg University briefly. She was employed by the County of Northampton before becoming a homemaker. Barbara was an avid bowler for many years. She enjoyed bowling at Bar-Don Lanes (which is named after her as her father built and managed the lanes until his death in 1978). She bowled until her motor vehicle accident on October 29, 2008. She was unable to continue bowling and all of her secretarial duties with numerous leagues and tournaments due to her accident.

She is survived by her daughters, Michelle June Storm, Kelly Reibman (fiancée, David Balliet), Coplay PA and her granddaughter, Meagan E. Reibman of Bethlehem.  Her daughter, Mary, died earlier.

Kelly and family would like to thank the amazing nurses and staff on Tower 9 at Gracedale. They are incredible passionate and took wonderful care of my mom. They will be missed greatly.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic restriction, services will not be held. Burial will be done by Ashton Funeral Home, Easton, PA and interment will be at Northampton Memorial Shrine. Memorial to be done at a later time.

Mary E. “Betty” Keiber, 100 of Easton, PA died Monday, March 23, 2020 at St. Luke’s Hospital, Anderson Campus. Born February 3, 1920 in Easton, she was the daughter of the late Mary Louise (Helwick) and Clifton Schwenk. A 1937 graduate of Easton High School, she had been the office manager for First Presbyterian Church Nursery School from 1956 to 1983. Betty was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church, Easton; Easton Chapter #214, OES and was a volunteer at Easton Hospital. Because of Betty’s unconditional acceptance and listening skills she became a treasure to all who had the privilege of knowing her.

She is survived by her children: Robert J. Keiber, Jr. (wife Sandra) of Palmer Twp., PA, Betty Ann Yurkewitch (husband Frank) of McLean, VA, Margaret Louise Engstrom of Sierra Vista, AZ; 7 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband Robert J. Keiber, Sr. and a granddaughter.

Due to the coronavirus restrictions a private family service will be held with interment in Easton Heights Cemetery. A public celebration of her life will be announced at a later date.

Clarence Eugene “Chub” Foss, 94 of Easton, PA died Tuesday, March 24, 2020 at his son’s home in Martins Creek, PA. Born February 22, 1926 in Port Jervis, NY he was a son of the late Clarence and Pearl (Montgomery) Foss. A 1944 graduate of Easton High School, he served in the Army Air Corps during WWII. He was employed by Air Products and Chemicals from 1958 until 1983 and loved to read detective novels.

He is survived by his wife of 66 years: Eugenia Lois (Mandarino) Foss; 3 children: Scott Foss of Martins Creek, PA, Steve Foss (wife Marcia) of Old Forge, PA, Sally Murgia (husband Peter) of Lower Mt. Bethel Twp., PA; sisters: Shirley “Toni” Schweder of Montrose, PA, Audrey Smith of Raubsville, PA; and 4 grandchildren: Marissa, Katrina, Giavanna and Matthew. He was predeceased by 2 brothers and 2 sisters.

Services are private due to the coronavirus restrictions. Interment is in St. Anthony’s Cemetery, Easton, PA. The Ashton Funeral Home, Easton is handling arrangements.
