Robert H. “Yo Bob” Bakros

Robert H. “Yo Bob” Bakros, 77, formerly of Palmer Township, died Saturday, April 25, 2026 in Slate Belt Medical Center. Born December 25, 1948 in Easton, he was the son of the late Steve “Red” Bakros and Hannah M. (Fehnel) Bakros. His wife, Karen L. (Bellis) Bakros died in 2016. He was a draftsman for Victaulic and retired in 2013. He was also a bartender at Bar-Don Lanes. Bob was a member of the Palmer Fire Company and the West Easton Fire Company.

Surviving are his son, Steve Bakros and his wife, Shannon; a sister, Lorrie Furry and her husband, Frank; and three grandchildren, Quinn, Teagan and Hudson. He was predeceased by three sisters, Joyce Kutzler, Gloria Wright and Linda May Grifo.

Services will be held at noon on Thursday, April 30, 2026 in the Ashton Funeral Home, 1337 Northampton St., Easton. A visitation will be held from 11:00 am until noon on Thursday in the funeral home. Interment will be in Northampton Memorial Shrine. Memorial contributions may be made to The Center for Animal Health and Welfare, www.healthyanimalcenter.org.     Steve and family your dad was family my friend and my partner at work and when I was in need of help forever fond memories and nothing but love in my heart I will miss you Bob

    Bob wasn’t just my brother-in-law, he was my friend and partner at the bar where we work together for many years.

    He always had my back through the ups and downs of my life. I will truly miss him.
