To Barbara’s nieces and nephews, I offer my deepest sympathies at the loss of your talented and spirited Aunt. I knew her well as a dedicated Wilson trustee and alumna, and enjoyed many an evening with her, Allen, and my husband Dan at our favorite Manhattan restaurants. I greatly admired her talents as a writer, editor and keen observer of the world around her. I’ll miss Barbara’s warmth, wit and commitment to her Alma Mater.

Marie and I just learned today (12/25/2022) about Barbara’s death. We were shocked and saddened to learn of her death. We would call Barbara about once every two or three weeks just to keep in touch since she and Allen moved from New York City. Barbara would have been 85 on 12/22/2022. We consider Barbara as one of our dearest friends and will miss her. To Barbara’s Nephew Bret and Niece Kimberly, we offer our condolences. We know you will miss her as we will. We met Barbara and Allen in 1974 in a coffee shop near Central Park, we struck up a conversation, and have been close friends ever since. So many memories. Barbara and Allen loved travel, museums, dinners, concerts, opera, theater.
Dear Barbara we will miss you but you will be with us forever. Love Ed and Marie
