Danny was a great cousin who gave us great memories —- From the thrill of riding in his GTO (as a kid); to having the honor of participating in his wedding; to helping with the annual planting of the geraniums at the cemetery; and, most of all — enjoying his sense of humor throughout the years – always brought smiles to our faces.
What a great role model for many. He will truly be missed, but the memories will remain forever.
Ellen: you have our heartfelt condolences…..

Dan was my great mentor in AT&T. We both spent years in Bell Labs, then moved to the HQ. As such, we had similar war stories to share. He was nurturing, smart, and always kept a healthy and humorous outlook. Ellen, and Rosemary had kept our semi-annual lunch at Ridge continuously since our retirement in 1998. I will forever treasure the sweet memories. In our last lunch, Ellen and Dan were so excited about their (forthcoming) “obligation” as a flower-grandmother. Cute!
Ellen, take good care, and be strong! We will be here to give any support!

So sorry to hear about the loss of Dan. Though I did not know Dan, my mother Jane has kept in touch with Ellen over the many years since our leaving Warren Township NJ where the Cwynars lived just down the street. She has talked so highly of them and I have gotten to know Ted a little bit through my time at Chubb where we both work. Know that you have raised a great “kid”. Best – Rick Albers
