Yvonne L. Deemer, 73 of Trenton, NJ died Monday, August 18, 2025 at Serenity Hospice in the Robert Wood Johnson Hospital, Hamilton, NJ. Born November 6, 1951 in Easton, PA she was a daughter of the late Grace (Haring) and Carl Deemer, Jr. She was employed by Riegel Paper Co. and Home Depot in Phillipsburg for many years before retiring. Yvonne was a member of the Alpha Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary.
She is survived by her son: Barry Volkert (wife Jamie) of Hamilton, NJ and their children: Abigail, Caroline and Nicolas; her daughter: Tara Butler (husband James) of Stewartsville, NJ and their children: Julia, Avery and Emma; her sister: Gail Vasko (husband Joseph) of Nazareth, PA; her brother: Carl Deemer, III of Lebanon, PA; nieces and nephews
Services are 10:30 AM Saturday (Aug. 23) in the Old Greenwich Presbyterian Church, 17 Greenwich Church Rd., Stewartsville, NJ with visitation from 10 to 10:30 AM. Interment is in Greenwich Cemetery. I’m so sorry to hear of Yvonne’s passing. We became friends when she lived at Clymer Village as a neighbor of my mother, Carol. She was always such a pleasant and friendly person. I am so sorry for your loss. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.
