Nancy (Chris) Roy Miller

Nancy (Chris) Roy Miller, 93, of Ambler, PA passed away peacefully on 10/22/25. Born in Pittsburgh, PA on 7/2/1932 and was the loving daughter of Helen Bright and Robert F. Roy and sister to Robert B. Roy. The family moved to Jenkintown, PA where she attended Jenkintown High School and played sports including Tennis, Basketball, and Field Hockey. She graduated from The University of Pennsylvania and then pursued a career as a Dental Hygienist. Later, she returned to teach Dental Hygiene at Penn and Temple University. After meeting her second husband Reuben (Bud) E.V. Miller III DDS, she moved to Easton, PA and taught at Northampton Community College. She continued her career working with Bud at his practice in Easton and later became the first woman appointed to the PA State Board of Dental Examiners, by then Governor Richard Thornburg. Having been raised to love nature she served on Easton’s Shade Tree Commission. Chris and Bud loved camping and took annual trips to Maine. She enjoyed tennis, jewelry making, camping, and collecting. She loved her extended family and loved large family gatherings.

She is survived by her sons Kenneth Lange, John (Linda Scott) Lange, step children Kim (Jeff Girton) Lacy, Julie (Edward) Breiner, Andrew (Donna) Miller, Thomas (Scott Edmiston) Miller, grandchildren Kate (Thomas Gotthold) Lange, Corey (Kerrie Davison) Lange, Jacob Lange, Scott Lange, and David Lange, great grandchildren Jaden Lange and Roy Lange, sister in law Linda Roy (Samuel) Mott, nieces Gwenda (Daniel) Carver, and Cynthia (Stephen) Roberts.

A Service will be held at Easton Cemetery 401 N. 7th St., Easton, PA, 18042 @11am on Saturday, November 1, 2025. A Luncheon to follow at Sage Alley Brewery, 213 N. Main St., Coopersburg, PA, 18036.     Chris and Doc were wonderful people, my wife I spent many nights at the bar with them at Terry’s. Always enjoyed talking to both them. To her family, keep those precious memories and moments close.
