Dear Steve and Andy ( and all her family),
I do not have any addresses, thus, am using this manner of conveying my feelings.
Before Ruby left for Florida, she shared with me that she would not be undergoing any additional chemo treatments – it was her decision and we both understood what lay ahead for her.
I knew she would travel this difficult path well – both due to her innate courage and faith and to the love and care you, as her family would give her.
Ruby was a wonderful person; she enjoyed Life and all that surrounded her – her family, her freinds, her church, her commitments to the community. And she met all challenges with unbelievable strength and courage. Losing John and then Ann Louise was a challenging time for all of you.
May the faith she lived be a part of your lives as you must continue to face Life today and tomorrow.
Be grateful for the many years she was among you; she will remain among you as you recall the wonderful times you shared as a family.
May you all find a sense of peace in the months to come. You did all that was humanly possible to make her final months comfortable.
Blessings,
Vivian Noblett
