I was saddened when I learned of Ted’s passing. I grew up in Forty Fort and have been a friend of Ted’s for over 45 years. I am also a member of the Class of 1970 at WVW. I worked with Ted on few masonry jobs over the years, he was a hard worker. About a dozen men from the class of 70 get together every other month and have couple cold ones, and just last night we met at KEELY’S on Division St. in Kingston and we reflected on Ted’s life and how much fun we had over the years.
The men Sparten Men of 1970 will miss Teddy “NIP” Welles.
Rest in Peace my friend, Bruce Dadurka and the Sparten Men of 1970.
