Mrs. Shriver taught so many of us how to swim through the Red Cross. For those of us who worked as life guards under her at Meuser Pool, we knew she was the boss, strong but fair. Thank you for having a positive influence on the lives of others.

My condolences to the family on the loss of your loved one. When we lose someone we love in death, the pain, grief, and feelings of helplessness can seem unbearable. But remember that the Almighty God sees your tears, he feels your pain, and he will continue with you to comfort and sustain you through this very difficult time. (Psalms 55:22)

In the summer of 1967 after helping teach kids to swim under Mrs Shriver’s direction for a few years, a group of us obtained our advanced swimmer from the Red Cross. She inspired me to swim through my lifetime which has kept me healthy. Thanks Mrs Shriver.
