Dorothy and Stanley were dear friends. Stanley, while looking out of our living room window, said that he and Dorothy would always be close by so that we should visit them often.
Little did I know that they would be buried across the street from our home. (Just a little of Stanley’s sense of humor).
You will always be in our hearts and our memories.

About a month ago, I had the chance to visit with Gabby and Mrs. Eisel and I’m certainly glad I had that opportunity. Mrs. Eisel was the last living close friend of my parents, Margaret and Reeder Thatcher, and I have enjoyed staying in touch with her since their passing. Years ago, always had great times with Dorothy and Stan (my favorite Canadian) at parties in my parent’s home. My thoughts and prayers with Mrs. Eisel and Gabby, who has taken GREAT care of her beloved mother for years since moving back home to do just that. Condolences to Gabby who has lovingly adjusted her life and work to help her mom through some difficult times. Gabby, your place has been reserved in heaven.

    God Bless,

    Jeff Thatcher and family

Our sincerest condolences to the family of Mrs. Dorothy Eisel. Although we are strangers to you, we have been touched by the dedication and commitment of your mother and loved one “Dorothy” who served as President of the Peel Memorial Hospital (Brampton, ON) from 1969-71. We recently re-opened the new Peel Memorial Centre for Integrated Health & Wellness on those same hospital grounds where hundreds of volunteers provide their valuable services just like your loved one. It is through the tireless efforts of volunteers like Mrs. Eisel who helps ensure the delivery of heartfelt care and attention to our patients and their families.

    Deepest regrets and kind thoughts,
