My sincere condolences for your loss. I worked with Ray periodically for many years at IBM in Philadelphia and Bethlehem. It was a pleasure, and he was a gifted asset to the IBM Co.

Dear Family of Ray,
I had the privilege of working with your father in Bethlehem and later as a Technical Assistance Specialist on my team in Cherry Hill, NJ. He was a real class act, great guy, dependable, honest, compassionate and very talented.
He got angry at me one time when after he passed out working twice while working out of town, at customer sites with other Specialists, I made him stay home in Bethlehem and not drive for work until he got proper medical attention.
He did so, had major stomach surgery and became very healthy again. He still worked hard as ever, and we remained great friends. It has been a few years since I saw him at the retiree breakfast. I tried to e-mail him a couple times after your mother passed but he did no respond, but now I understand why.
Must add, we really liked your mother “Dot”!
My wife Barbara is scheduled for a surgery the morning of August 27th
so sadly we cannot make the funeral service. So we send our love and sympathy to the whole family….God Bless, Paul & Barb Lockard
