Pappy. What can I say about Pappy! Bill always treated me like his own and I was just a girl who lived down the road and spent time with Becki, Ray And Nick. Pap and Gram truly became part of my family during the years that I lived in Raubsville. I will always remember him as a gentle giant. I hope he is resting peacefully now. Grammy, Ray, Becki, Nicky and the rest of the family, you are in my thoughts and prayers. Love you all!

Sorry to hear of Bill’s passing.Went to school with him in Harmony and Belvidere.
We were rough-housing in 4th grade and he broke my little finger. It’s still crooked today. We were in Boy Scout Troop 62 in harmony in the 50’s and 60’s. Great times, cooking over an open fire. Burnt on the bottom, raw on top. Smoke in your eyes. Wooden matches.Pup tents with no floors. Sleeping bags were primative, zippers always stuck.Pads and air mattresses were not invented yet.. Our only high tech devices was a flashlight and a transistor radio. Batteries were dead within a hour.Camp Weygadt, Winter camping in Lean to’s in the snow. Bus trips to Canada.Valley Forge. Our Scoutmasters were WWII vets. Marching, saluting, Uniform inspections, training. We had great fun. Kids today don’t know what fun is.Our scout moto was “BE PREPARED” Bill was. I had dinner with Bill, Audrey and Bj at the Fish House resturant in Easton in October. Great time. Bill seemed healthy then.. R.I.P Bill
