So many memories.. holidays, weekend card games with my parents, the basement parties on Mitman Road, picnics. Lovene, Clyde, and my Dad, all together, having fun. Now they are all together again. So sad at this time but forever grateful for the wonderful memories. You were there when we needed you most. Forever in my heart.

Jane and family,
We are sorry for your loss and would like to offer all of you our sincere condolences on the passing of Lovene.
Lovene, who was our neighbor for 46 years, was a kind and decent man. He was hard-working, and exuded all those good old-fashioned values.
Through the years he was a good neighbor and a loyal friend. He took great pride in maintaining his beautiful property, and the image of him working in his garden is etched in our memory. When we first moved in next door, we certainly needed a lot of guidance. Lovene was always willing to help us, give us good advice, and became our mentor over the years.
Lovene and Jane have been good to our children and our grandson. They always did something special for them on Christmas and birthdays. Both were big supporters of our son’s football and wrestling careers while he was at Easton High School.
Lovene was a true friend. He lived a wonderful and fulfilling life. His passing will definitely leave a void. We’ll always remember the things he used to say and do. We are certainly better people for having known him.
We are saddened. May time, prayer, and good memories sustain Jane and family during this difficult time.

I was deeply saddened to hear the news today that Coach Lovene passed. I will miss seeing him in his garden as I drive past on my way home most days.
He coached me in midget football for the VFW in the ’70s. It`s the only championship team I ever played on. He was teaching us how to be men while we still boys. Years Later we would get together and play tennis over at the Lafayette Courts.
I will miss his infamous big grin smile. He certainly made this world a better place. RIP my friend.
