Frances Bradley

Frances Bradley, 87, of Saylorsburg, formerly of Nutley, NJ, died Tuesday, February 25, 2014 in New Eastwood Care Center.

Born:  October 4, 1926 in Nutley, NJ, she was a daughter of the late Charles W. and Genevieve (Whelan) Bradley.

Survivors:  A daughter, Nancy Burke; three sons, Ron Gugliociello, Michael Gugliociello, and Stephen Gugliociello; three sisters, Ruth Lyons, Marilyn Berg, and Patricia Coraggio; a brother, Charles Bradley; and two grandchildren.

Oliver J. Wischmeyer

Oliver J. Wischmeyer, 61, of Forks Township, died Monday, February 24, 2014 in his home.

Born:  October 4, 1952 in St. Louis, MO, he was a son of the late Oliver J., Sr., and M. Eileen (Bowers) Wischmeyer.

Personal:  He and his wife, the former Stella E. (Levandowski) were married 37 years.  He served in the Air National Guard and was a director at Metropolitan Life Insurance Company, Bridgewater, NJ.

Memberships:  He was a member of Dallas-Lafayette Lodge #396, F&AM, Easton.

Services:  A Masonic Service will be held at 2:00 pm on Thursday, Feb. 27, in the Ashton Funeral Home, 1337 Northampton St., Easton. Call from 1:00 pm until service time Thursday in the funeral home.  Interment will be in Easton Cemetery.

Derick L. Guzman

February 23, 2014

Derick L. Guzman, 29, of Bethlehem died Sunday, February 23, 2014.

Born: May 19, 1984 in Phillipsburg, NJ, he was the son of Melody (Otto) Dancy of New Bern, NC and Ricardo Guzman of Bethlehem, PA.

Personal: He was a graduate of Easton High School and received his Hypnosis Certification from the International Assoc. of Counselors and Therapists.  Derick was also available as a “barber for hire”.

Survivors: His parents; a son: Carter D. Guzman; grandmothers: Carol Macaulay and Nereida Guzman-Longenbach; and many cousins. He was predeceased by his sister: Devon N. Guzman in 2000.

Services: 11:00 a.m. Thursday (Feb. 27) in New Creation UCC Church, 3730 Nicholas St., Easton, PA with visitation from 9:30 to 11 a.m. in the church. Interment will be private. The Ashton Funeral Home, Easton is handling the arrangements.

Glenn E. Fehr

February 23, 2014

Glenn E. Fehr, 69, of Easton, died Sunday, February 23, 2014 in ManorCare, Old Orchard.

Born:  October 9, 1944 in Farragut, Idaho, he was a son of the late Paul E. and Mildred (Miller) Fehr.

Personal:  He worked at Mack Printing and retired in 2006.

Memberships:  He was a member of the Loyal Order of Moose, Easton; West Easton Fire Co.; and Wilson Boro Republican Club.

Survivors:  two sons, Glenn A. Fehr and Gary P. Fehr; two sisters, Diann Serfass and Donna Carrigan; 4 grandchildren; and 2 great grandchildren.

Services:  A private graveside service was held at Holy Cross Lutheran Church Cemetery, Bushkill Center.  Arrangements by the Ashton Funeral Home, Easton.

Thomas C. Zulick, III

Thomas C. Zulick, III, 90, of Easton died Saturday, February 22, 2014 in Easton Hospital.

Born: June 21, 1923 in Easton, PA he was a son of the late Thomas C., Jr. and Elizabeth (Green) Zulick. His wife Marie (Pfenning) Zulick died in 2010.

Personal: He wrestled for Lafayette College and graduated with a degree in Industrial Engineering in 1949. He had been employed by Western Electric for 20 years before retiring in 1981. He also served in the Army Signal Corps during WWII.

Memberships: He was a member of the Zeta Psi Fraternity at Lafayette and the Twin City Weight Lifting Club.

Survivors: Three sons: Thomas C., IV and his wife Yvonne of Easton; Robert T. and his wife Hollis of Pittsburgh, PA; James L. and his wife Kathleen of Nazareth, PA; 2 brothers: William E. Chipman of Naples, FL; Frank L. Chipman of Greenville, NC; 5 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his wife Marie, his sister Mary Elizabeth and a daughter JoAnn who died in infancy.

Stephanie Anne Yeager Campo

Stephanie Anne Yeager Campo, 34, of Wilson Borough went to sing with the Angels on Saturday, February 22, 2014 at the home she shared with her husband of 4 months, Joseph Campo.

Born: June 5, 1979 in Easton she was a daughter of Stephen and Terrianne (Mammana) Yeager of Bethlehem Twp., PA.  

Personal: She was employed by Red Robin on Rt. 248 for the past 10 years and also with her husband at Imagine One Entertainment. Stephanie loved to sing and have fun and was very generous, putting other’s comfort before her own. She and was a beautiful, loving, energetic woman who got along with everyone and put a smile on everyone’s face.

Memberships: A 1997 graduate of Freedom High School, she was a member of the Les Chanteurs choir and had been a member of the choir at St. John’s UCC, Farmersville.

Survivors: Husband; parents; siblings: Jennifer Michaylira and husband Stephen; Marianne Yeager; Stephen Yeager, Jr.; nephew: Anthony Yeager; step-children: Jade, Brendan and Rachel; grandmother: Mary Jane Grube; parent-in-laws: Laura and Robert Oppen; brother-in-law: Dale; aunts, uncles, cousins and five cats.

Services: 11 a.m. Friday (Feb. 28) in New Creation UCC, 3730 Nicholas St., Easton, PA with visitation from 9 to 11 a.m. in the church. Interment will be private. The Ashton Funeral Home, Easton is handling the arrangements.

Shirley A. Boyer Kovacs

Shirley A. Boyer Kovacs, 92, formerly of Palmer Twp., PA died Thursday, February 20, 2014 in Country Meadows, Bethlehem.

Born: October 26, 1921 in Easton, PA she was a daughter of the late F. E. and Marjorie (Hendershot) Boyer, Sr. Shirley and her husband Stephen L. Kovacs celebrated their 72nd wedding anniversary on February 14th this year, they were married Feb. 14, 1942.

Personal: A 1939 graduate of Wilson High School, she was a secretary at Ingersoll Rand and later at the Easton Area School District until retiring in 1984. Shirley was a wonderful cook and baker and especially enjoyed preparing holiday meals to share with family and friends. She was a devoted and loyal wife, mother, Gram and friend. She will be sadly missed by her family and many friends.

Memberships: She was a lifelong member of Green Pond United Methodist Church (formerly Calvary UM), Easton, joining the church in 1932. She had been its longest living member.

Survivors: Her husband: Stephen L. Kovacs; daughter: Janet Matthews and her husband Jim of Forks Twp., PA; a grandson: Michael J. Matthews and his wife Anita of Los Angeles, CA; half-sister: Barbara Duhamel of MA; cousins, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her older daughter: Marjorie A. Kovacs in 2010; step-mother: Enid Boyer and 2 older brothers: F.E. Boyer, Jr. and Walter Ralph Boyer.

Services: A Celebration of Life Service will be held 10:30 a.m. Monday (Feb. 24) in the Church, 4411 Green Pond Rd., Easton, PA 18045 with visitation from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. in the church. Interment will be private in the Northampton Memorial Shrine. The Ashton Funeral Home, Easton is handling the arrangements.

Alfred L. Perelli, Sr.

Alfred L. Perelli, Sr., 85, of Hanover Twp., PA formerly of Easton died Wednesday February 19, 2014 at home.

Born: October 18, 1928 in Lower Mt. Bethel Twp., PA he was a son of the late Joseph and Adelina Spinozzi.

Personal: A 1947 graduate of Easton High School, he had been employed by Ingersoll-Rand in Phillipsburg from 1973 to 1986, then by D and Z in Philadelphia until retiring in 1992. He served in the Marine Corps during WWII and the Korean War.

Memberships: He was a member of Notre Dame Catholic Church, Bethlehem and a lifemember of the DAV.

Survivors: His wife of 22 years: Joyce (Ryan) Perelli; a son: Al Perelli, Jr. and his wife Tina of Downingtown, PA; 2 daughters: Joyce Beckhusen of Bordontown, NJ; Sharon Wasmer and her husband Barry of Bethlehem, PA; a step-son: Thomas Durilla, II and his wife Hilary of Allentown, PA; his only surviving sister: Eleanor Gabrielli Perelli of Forks Twp., PA; 5 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren and 1 step-grandson.

Services: Mass be held 1:30 p.m. Monday (Feb. 24) in Notre Dame Catholic Church, 1861 Catasauqua Road, Bethlehem with visitation from 12:30 to 1:30 in the church; interment will be in Holy Saviour Cemetery. The Ashton Funeral Home, Easton is handling the arrangements.
