Ronald W. Buchman

Ronald W. Buchman, 70, of Palmer Twp., PA died Sunday, September 21, 2014 in Easton Hospital.

Born September 20, 1944 in Easton, PA he was a son of the late Reese and Joyce (Stiles) Buchman. He and his wife, the former Doris Heavener were married for 50 years.

A 1962 graduate of Phillipsburg High School, he was employed by Ingersoll-Rand, Phillipsburg in the Marine Engineering Department for more than 40 years before retiring. He also enjoyed gardening, painting, model trains, casinos and the Pittsburgh Steelers.

He is survived by his wife: Doris; son: Brian and his wife Tammi of Palmer Twp., PA; and four grandchildren: Brandon, Michael, Brian and Tim. He was predeceased by two brothers: James and Charles.

Services will be held 10:30 a.m. Friday (Sept. 26) in the Ashton Funeral Home, 1337 Northampton St., Easton, with visitation from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Thursday. Interment will be in Northampton Memorial Shrine.

    Doris, Brian and Family,
    I am so sad and shocked to hear of my pal, Ron’s, passing… I have the best memories of our “gang” at Ingersoll… fun times that I will never forget. He will be deeply missed by all. Doris, please know Bob & I are thinking of you (hugs)…

    Please accept our sincere sympathy. We remember how you and Ron were always a part of our family picnics with Aunt Elly & Uncle Dick. They are happy memories.
