I first knew Vic while he was at Metropolitan Edison, later General Public Utilities, today part of FirstEnergy. He was well into his Met-Ed career; I was just starting out as a journalist who covered utilities as part of my beat.
Vic was a professional and wonderful corporate spokesperson — one of the best I dealt with in that, as I recall, he understood journalism and the role journalists play.
More recently, I had a chance to see him at Moravian Hall Square, and we had a brief but enjoyable chat.
I am sorry to read his obituary but can only believe he is with his wife, Margaret, and looking down on us. Bless all who had the good fortune to know him.

We only knew Vic for a short time at Moravian Hall Square but in that time we knew he was a kind and caring individual. We ate dinner with him and in the conversations we also knew that he was very intelligent and although difficulty in hearing he enhanced the talk. A good man. God Bless. Nancy/Bill Brackbill

We sat behind Vic at church and sometimes he sat with us. We always enjoyed talking with him. He was a very kind and gentle person.
We will miss seeing him at church.
Thank you Vic for your service to our country.
Our thoughts and prayers are with Mark and the entire family.

I still remember when I was first met Vic as a little elementary student interviewing him about his experiences as a veteran. Thank you for being a wonderful friend and neighbor to us all those years. I know my family cherishes your coffee chat visits, generous garden vegetables drop offs, and brunch meet ups. You were a huge part of my childhood, and I know your impact runs deep with all who were lucky to know you.

Mark and family, Sorry I couldn’t help you celebrate what apparently was a wonderful life. I didn’t know your dad, so I just want you to know that I was thinking of youl

Vic was married to my Aunt Magaret who was my father’s sister. I was 12 years old when I met him. He became a part of my life from then to the present. Currently I am 86. I never heard an unkind person about this good man. We will miss him and the contributions he made in his long life. May he find his place in the heavenly kingdom. Judy Camp Guard
